ABSTRACT
Resumo: Este texto tem como objetivo realizar uma análise retrospectiva do significado da revista Serviço Social & Sociedade para o desenvolvimento de um pensamento crítico sobre a profissão e a sociedade brasileira nos seus quarenta anos de existência. Pretendeu evidenciar que sua criação deve ser tributada a um duplo movimento convergente de luta contra a ditadura e de ruptura do Serviço Social com o conservadorismo profissional.
Abstract: This paper aims to conduct a retrospective analysis of the meaning of the journal Social Work & Society for the development of critical thinking about the profession and Brazilian society in its 40 years of existence. It aimed to show that its creation must be taxed to a double convergent movement of struggle against the dictatorship and of rupture of the Social Work with the professional conservatism.

Este artigo visa dar visibilidade acadêmica ao conhecimento local das pescadoras artesanais do estuário do rio Paraíba (PB). O complexo estuarino é fundamental na vida das trabalhadoras, a partir das relações estabelecidas pela atividade da pesca artesanal e pelas demandas de proteção social vinculadas ao território. Os materiais coletados apontam para questões relacionadas às ausências de proteções no campo da garantia de direitos, especificamente às demandas por serviços e benefícios públicos das populações nos territórios habitados.
This article aims at giving academic visibility to the local knowledge of the artisan fisherwomen of the estuary of River Paraíba in Paraíba State. The estuary complex is essential in the workers´ lives, because of the relations established by the artisan fishing activity and the requirements of social protection related to the territory. The material gathered points issues relative to the absence of protection in the guarantee of rights, specifically as to the requirements for public services and benefits for the populations in the inhabited territory.

Este artigo é uma reflexão coletiva do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre Movimentos Sociais (Nemos) do Programa de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Serviço Social da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, a partir dos conceitos de Scherer-Warren sobre Redes e Movimentos Sociais. As reflexões apontam para uma agenda de pesquisa que repense as novas configurações dos movimentos sociais no século XXI, suas relações com o Estado e partidos políticos e suas articulações políticas e diversidade de composição.
This article is a collective study based on Scherer-Warren's concepts of networks and social movements. It is the result of a research done by the Group of Study and Research on Social Movements (Nemos) of the Social Services Postgraduation Program of Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. The study point to a research agenda to rethink the new configurations of XXI century's social movements, their connections to the State and political parties, their political articulation and their diverse background.
ABSTRACT
Nosso objetivo neste texto é apresentar a trajetória teórico-metodológica vivida pela equipe de pesquisadores do Instituto de Estudos Especiais (IEE-PUC/SP) na construção do Sistema Informacional de Gestão Social (SIGS) - que permite efetuar a gestão de programas sociais voltados para famílias em situação de vulnerabilidade social. Demos destaque aos conceitos pilares dessa construção: pobreza/desigualdade social; território; necessidades e vulnerabilidades sociais; autonomização.
